Book Description
A long time ago, I was clued out about everything. I had to create a map for myself firstly for the academic world that I was part of for awhile then when I decided it was too boring for me, I joined the real world, had to learn about practical knowledge so I created the "People Power" books. I know all about practical and academic knowledge now. The average person doesn't. This book will help you get started. You need the library guidebook too because libraries are still cool. If you’re a floundering idiot in money, go to #332 and find some good, current money books or if you’re looking for a job, go to #331. I know that every year all over the world, there are millions of undergrads starting to get indoctrinated into how to write an academic paper. If you have this book, it might save you a lot of time learning about academia. Basic Reference Information Books about how to do research are at #001.42 or Q180.55 at the library and #021 to #031.

Book Description
Reading, writing and speaking used to be the purpose of all college education, to create someone who can express themselves clearly and simply. They called him a liberally-educated man, someone who could say what they thought without babbling. Despite all the technical-babble that has swept the world, it is still about your ability to communicate simply and clearly. The late Dr. Jeanne Chall developed the theory that learning about literacy occurs in stages: 1.) Pre-reading; six months to six years: The pre-reading child has some phonological awareness or sensitivity to speech sounds, rhyming and alliteration; recognizes some letters and may link some to the sounds they make; some understanding of books and print. 2.) Initial reading or decoding; first and second grade: The child who is just beginning to read can sound out words one at a time and decode them slowly, carefully and accurately. Most of his attention is devoted to decoding with few mental resources left over for deeper comprehension.

Book Description
Back in the day if you got a graduate degree in almost anything, you could get a decent job. Companies and organizations hired people with social science master’s degrees because they assumed they could think deep thoughts and express themselves clearly but the mystique of a person with a graduate degree is gone in modern-day society. The internet has made knowledge easily available. The illusion that people with graduate degrees are wise and intelligent is gone because so many people got doctorates who look, talk and act like flakes. I don’t respect graduate degrees anymore unless it’s in a highly technical field. If you got a Phd in sociology, I’m thinking another bullcrapper thinking they know something when if they really did, they’d know their degree and all that stuff they learned about that fake field called sociology is modern-day crap.

Book Description
Don't buy into anyone's system. Create your own. This is the way life should be lived in an ideal world. Home schooling is becoming more popular as many parents become disillusioned with public schooling and want to develop closer relationships with their children during the formative years. The mainstay of the movement seems to be Christian parents who don't like the secular/ humanistic curriculum and the so-called worldly influences of other children in public schools, hence, they choose to educate them on their own with Christian values. The other thrust seems to be that the public school system simply fails in its obligation to churn out well-educated children ready for the competitive real world. The home schooling movement, arguably started by John Holt in the 1970s, is based upon the idea that children learn better by themselves following their own natural interests.

Book Description
Chances are you will go to a college near where you live or go to one online. Many people now do parts of their degrees online then attend the college physically for awhile. In-state is always cheaper than going to a college out of state because your local government subsidizes residents at the local public universities, not the private ones. Private universities charge whatever they want to everybody. Publicly-funded ones are much cheaper. The real issue is what do you study. Do you listen to what everybody else says including the world system or yourself? That’s the eternal question. Will I be the hero of my own life or will I be a clone, following everybody else? College is not necessarily the answer to life. You are. Whatever lives inside of you is strong, unique and vital. College can help you find it but by itself college is a fantasy land for young people.

Book Description
You're probably living a comfortable life at high school where you're well-respected and have friends then you go to college and you're just another generic, average student who is not popular like you were at home. Relax. Everyone else is like you. You have to put yourself out there if you want to make friends, do fun things and enjoy the ride. The average 18 year old is massively brainwashed. He has no idea of who he is in his true nature. He's trying to achieve success by society's formula which is college. Many kids go to college not even knowing that there are no jobs for many of the social science fields. They think that if the college offers it as a major, there must be a job waiting at the end. This is so stupid. Most 18 year-olds are self-centered. They think they're special because they're going to college then they go home and try to act scholarly like those nerdy professors they've been listening to for the past four months.

Book Description
This book has basic contact information for schools and colleges within the trades and technical skills. I’ve looked around. A book like this doesn’t exist anywhere right now, a book that tries to list most of the community colleges and trades-vocational schools in the United States. I deal with specific profession schools in the next book. A lot of colleges offer career programs that don’t lead to a degree but rather a certificate for the vocational field. Local community colleges often offer many programs in the practical skill occupations. Professional and trade organizations present free or low-cost webinars in addition to their traditional courses available for a fee.
